The Rome Georgia Mineral Society schedules field trips on a regular basis to collect minerals and fossils all over Georgia and the Southeast. These trips are either led by club members or are scheduled in conjunction with the Dixie Mineral Council. Field trips are for members only – information is published in the club bulletin and announced in the meetings.
